Both Memphis Depay and Frenkie de Jong are travelling with the Netherlands squad.

Frenkie de Jong was taken off in Thursday’s 2-0 win over Poland and manager Louis van Gaal explained it was a precautionary measure and he will be available for the game against Belgium.

Memphis Depay was also subbed off in that particular game and is expected to spend some time on the sidelines.

But both the players are now leaving the Dutch camp and heading towards Barcelona due to their respective injuries.

Depay earlier reiterated his desire to fight for his place in Xavi’s squad but looks like he will be out for a while.

“It’s a shame that Memphis had to go off with this injury, it doesn’t look good… I don’t see him playing against Belgium,” Van Gaal earlier said.

“Frenkie de Jong was taken off out of precaution. He was feeling tension in his muscles which is why I took him off. But Frenkie knows his own body well and believes he can play on Saturday.”
