Ansu Fati signs a six-year contract with Barcelona.

The Blaugrana has extended Fati’s contract with the club until 2027 and becomes the second player to have a buy-out clause at 1billion euros.

The teenager who has scored 15 goals in 47 games for the Catalan giants made his first La Liga start against Valencia this season.

He has been out for 10 months since November last year with a torn meniscus in his left knee.

Since Lionel Messi’s departure this summer to PSG, Fati inherited the No.10 shirt for the season.

The fans have been waiting for this news for quite some time and it has finally been announced by the club.

The Catalan giants had to offload a number of star players this summer including Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann to reduce their overall wage bill.

The teenager is still eased back to fitness and started on the bench against Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday.
