Atletico Madrid has re-signed Antoine Griezmann from Barcelona on a one-year loan.
The French forward returns to Wanda Metropolitano on a one-year loan deal with an obligation to make the move permanent for €40m.
He joined Barcelona in a €120m deal in 2019 but has failed to live up to the price tag and has scored only 22 goals in 74 games for the Catalan giants.
Griezmann scored 133 goals in 257 games for Atletico during his five-year spell with Diego Simeone’s side.
