Barcelona complete the signing of Memphis Depay as a free agent.

Memphis Depay joins FC Barcelona on a free transfer after running down his contract at Lyon.

The former Man United who joined Lyon in 2017 now pens a two-year contract with the Catalan giants.

He scored 76 goals in 178 appearances in all competitions in his four-year spell with the French side.

The Dutch winger is set to be the club’s third free signing of the summer after Eric Garcia and Sergio Aguero signed for the club.

Depay said in a press conference: “Everyone knows that I have been negotiating with Barcelona for some time.

“I want to play with Ronald Koeman. Now is the time to wait, but soon there will be news.”
