Pedri agrees to a new long-term contract with Barcelona.
The teenager has penned a new contract at Barcelona agreeing to fresh terms till the summer of 2026.
His new deal includes a release clause of €1 billion who quickly established himself as a starter for the Blaugrana.
Barcelona signed Pedri in the summer of 2020 from Las Palmas and made 52 appearances in his debut campaign across all competitions.
Financially-stricken Barcelona who currently has a negative net worth of €451m has retained the services of their hottest prospect for the next five years.

Barca said in an official statement: “FC Barcelona and the player, Pedro Gonzalez ‘Pedri’,have agreed a contract extension to 30 June 2026. The release clause is set at €1 billon.
“The new contract ties down the player from the Canary Islands for the rest of this season and a further four years.”
