Paco Alcácer won’t be on the pitch against his former club on Wednesday in the Champions League. Due to a knee injury sustained over the weekend during the draw against Paderborn in Bundesliga.
The former Valencia striker just came back from an Achilles tendon problem which kept him out of playing for five games. Still his number under Swiss coach Lucien Favre are impressive. Alcácer has scored five goals in nine games this Bundesliga campaign.
A return to the Camp Nou will have to wait for Alcácer which spent two full season at the Spanish club before going on loan to Borussia Dortmund.
