Barcelona midfielder Pedri has received high praise from Luis Enrique.
The youngster has earned as starting berth for Spain ahead of establish senior internationals.
He has shown just how mature he is well beyond his years with his performances in the 2020 Euros.
“There are times when facts define a situation much better than words,” Luis Enrique said in a press conference on Sunday when asked about the teenager.
“Pedri is a unique player, totally different to what else we have. He can seem a shy player, but he has humour. He’s even a breath of fresh air when he plays table tennis and from what I’ve seen he’s very good at that too.”
Pedri was prolific for Barca as well, emerging as a shining light out of a very disappointing campaign for the club. His skill, balance and dexterous passing range mimics the talents of Barca legend, Andreas Iniesta.
If he continues to progress at such a meteoric rate, he has the potential to become one of the world’s very best creative midfielders. Pedri made 52 appearances in his debut campaign alone, also showcasing just how high his fitness levels are.
