Barcelona youngster Pedri shall be playing with the first team next season.

And he has talked about his future plans with the excellent first team on Setien’s side.

“First off, my objective is to do the preseason and try to stay with the first team,” he told FC Barcelona’s official website.

“I don’t focus on one position only what the coach says to me.”

“The U17 World Cup was great but it was bitter-sweet. With Las Palmas playing so many games in a row and without fans is difficult because we play for the fans but we adapted.”

“I feel more pressure but it’s good because if you relax, things don’t work for you. You need to try not to avoid pressure.”

“I am sure that Barça will do well in the Champions League despite not having won the league as they have a great team.”

However, just because Barca didn’t win La Liga will never stop Pedri from appreciating the Catalan club. He has been a Barcelona fan since he was a child and will continue to be.

“I always watch the Barça games and will continue to do so.”

“At home all my family are Barça fans and my grandfather created the Tenerife-Tegueste supporters’ club.”

“Visiting the facilities at FC Barcelona had been a dream for me and I did it a few months and it made me really happy.”

“The Camp Nou is very impressive. I always dreamt about coming out of the tunnel and I hope to do it in a Barça shirt.”
