Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang addresses daylight robbery injury

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang suffered a fractured jaw.

The Barcelona forward has been recently linked with a move to Chelsea this summer and a move could materialise on the deadline day.

A group of robbers broke into his Barcelona’s house on Sunday night but thankfully no one else in the family got physically harmed.

The former Arsenal captain suffered a jaw injury but will recover very soon.

The striker made only one appearance as a substitute and has been on the sidelines with an injury.

Aubameyang said: “On Sunday night, some violent cowards broke into our home and threatened my family and my children, just to steal some stuff.

“They injured my jaw but I will recover in no time, and thank God no one else was physically harmed. The feeling that we are no longer safe in our own home is hard to understand and describe, but as a family we will overcome this and stand stronger than ever.”
