Juventus head coach has refused to let out any secrets over the possible swap between Miralem Pjanic and Arthur.
Reports out of Turin and Catalonia have pointed out that Barcelona are Juventus will be swapping Miralem Pjanic and Arthur.
Sarri, the Juventus coach does not see a reason why he cannot use Pjanic as long as the player is contracted to the club.
“If he is sold, it’ll be for other reasons. He is not under discussion from a technical point of view,” he said on Thursday. “But the club haven’t given me any signals in that sense, so I don’t take it into consideration.
“The discussions between him and me are on technical and mental aspects. He mustn’t worry if he misses a game, but he has to react quickly.
“I’m happy with Miralem and I’m sure, in that role, he can improve further.”
When pushed on comments about Arthur, Sarri replied: “Arthur is a Barcelona player and I don’t want to talk about him.”
While the move will appear to be a positive one from Juventus’ point of view, there is extreme confusion at Barcelona who are reportedly swapping a promising and potential-filled 22-year-old midfielder and bringing in a 30-year-old anchor man.
