Sergio Aguero has revealed details of his relationship with Messi.

The Argentina international has said that Messi always complains about everything to him while they stay together during their time on the international squad.

Aguero has been on the Argentinian team since 2006 – racking up stats of 97 total appearances and scoring 41 goals. He sits in the third position as Argentina’s highest goalscorer – with Gabriel Batistuta coming second and Lionel Messi being the first at 71 goals.

Messi and Aguero have played together for a long time now, playing at three World Cups, four Copas America, and at the 2008 Olympics where they won a gold medal.

However, their relationship is far from being the best of friends – but more like an ‘old married couple’, according to Aguero.

“He always complains, we are like an old married couple,” Aguero joked on the “Santo Sabado” program.

“I always fall asleep with the TV on and when I wake up the next morning he is always complaining to me.

“He arrives at the hotel and is instantly taking a shower while I’m just sitting talking on my mobile phone. Then he will remind me that we need to go down to dinner and we do not have time.”
