The Croatian midfielder has confirmed his move away from Camp Nou to rejoin Sevilla.

Ivan Rakitic has signed a four-year deal with former club Sevilla FC for an initial fee of €1.5 million.

The midfielder played 310 games for the Blaugrana since his arrival from Sevilla in 2014 and went onto score 35 goals and 42 assists for the club.

During his six-year spell at Camp Nou, the midfielder won four league titles, four Copa del Rey trophies, and the Champions League.

In the 2019/20 season, his game-time noticeably reduced following the arrival of Frenkie de Jong last summer from Ajax but he still managed to play 39 games last season.

He was one of the players that new coach Ronald Koeman said was surplus in his plans for the future.
