Araujo started for Uruguay last Sunday against Argentina in WC qualifier

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo has suffered an injury with Uruguay on Sunday when his nation was playing against Argentina in a World Cup qualifier.

Araujo started for Uruguay last Sunday. Messi‘s Argentina defeated Uruguay 3-0 in World Cup qualifier. Things were not in favour of the Barcelona defender.

Araujo failed to play the whole game as he injured his leg during the game. He played 75 minutes in Uruguay in the World Cup qualifiers.

The injury is not serious and Barcelona defender could feature against Brazil later this week. He should be back for Barcelona’s clash against Valencia at Camp Nou on Sunday.
