In January Barcelona confirmed a deal after reaching an agreement with Palmeiras for Matheus Fernandes, who will join the Spanish club over the summer for a fee of €7 million euros plus €3 million in add-on.
Only few hours later, it was Real Valladolid that announced they have completed the signing of Matheus Fernandes on loan from Palmeiras until the end of the season.
This winter, Juventus sent Marheus Pereira on loan to Barcelona, in a deal involving Alejandro Marqués moving the other way. The 21-year-old loanee spent the first half of the season Dijon in the French First Division.
Barcelona completed the signing of Rey Manaj from Albacete for around €2 million. The 22-year-old striker was then moved to Barcelona B and he has a release clause of €50 million included in his contract. The Albanian international has previously played for Inter Milan, Pescara and Granada among other teams in his short career.
Barcelona agreed a deal to sign Francisco Trincao from Braga, although he will join up with his new club in the summer. The 20-year-old has evidently made a big impression in Portugal, as he has bagged three goals and six assists in 30 appearances for the senior Braga side.
After finding out that tey will be witout Dembele and Suarez for the remainder of the season, Barca completed the emergency transfer signing of Leganes striker Martin Braithwaite. The Denmark international netted six goals and provided one assist for struggling Leganess across 24 La Liga appearances.

Aston Villa signed England Under-17 striker Louie Barry from Barcelona for a fee of about €1m. The 16-year-old spent six months with the Spanish champions, who he joined from West Bromwich Albion in July 2019.
Barcelona loned out Moussa Wague to Ligue 1 side, Nice for the rest of the season. The 21-year-old made his debut under Ernesto Valverde in April and featured in a couple of La Liga and Champions League matches.
