Messi has named two demands needed to be fulfilled before he considers joining Manchester City.

The great Argentine forward was on the verge of leaving Barcelona in the summer transfer window but chose to spend the rest of the campaign at Camp Nou.

The Blaugrana didn’t allow Messi to leave for free and demanded £600m from any possible suitors if they wanted him.

He still wants to leave Barcelona and Manchester City are leading the race in securing his signature.

According to Argentine outlet El Chiringuito, via SportWitness, Messi wants assurances that Pep Guardiola and Sergio Aguero will still be at the club if he chooses to join Etihad.

Messi played four seasons under manager Pep Guardiola where they won the Champions League twice and La Liga three times.

Man City are the best-placed team to make the transfer happen.
