Barcelona will make Wolverhampton an offer for Adama Traore in the summer, the Daily Mail understand. The Wolves reportedly expect a true ‘bidding war’ for the winger between European clubs. The 24-year-old breakthrough attacker is currently valued at €28m. However, it’s likely that the Premier League side’s demands will be much higher than his estimated value.
Traore was a part of La Masia from 2004 to 2015. The player even made a few first-team appearances, however, there was almost no chance for him to make it as a regular starter at Camp Nou. The player himself says that he left the club not the best way possible.
“There was a misunderstanding with Barcelona. My departure was not the best but I’ll keep that story for myself.” However, the Mali native doesn’t close any doors for Barca return: “Going back to Barca? I don’t hold any grudge against them, so why not? I was there for 10 years and have very good memories.”
The Premier League star is known for his amazing pace, dribbling skills and a muscle mass he gained after he left the Catalan club.
