Griezmann recalls treasured Clasico memory

Antoine Griezmann spoke about his favourite Clasico memory which he remembers before their game with Real Madrid on Wednesday at Camp Nou.

Barcelona is going play against Real Madrid for the first time this year and this is Griezmann’s first game as well playing for Barcelona.

“I’m really looking forward to it” he said. “It’ll be an incredible day and I hope to go into the game in top form and to play well.”

“Everybody looks forward to this game. It’s a very important fixture both for the fans and for the players. It was always nice to watch it on TV. Now it’s a dream come true to actually be one of the actors in the show.”

“When I was with Sociedad it was always nice to watch the Clasicos on TV and now it’s like a dream come true to be able to play in it and have a role in it.

“The thing that I liked the most and which surprised me the most was the day they gave a standing ovation to Ronaldinho at the Bernabeu,” he added.

“I think Barca won 3-0 he had a great game and the whole stadium applauded him.”

Safe to say – he’s excited!
