Barcelona officials are in London this week for talks with Chelsea’s top defenders Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta.
According to Sport, the Catalan giants are planning to bring the duo to La Liga. They are so keen to sign them that they have already sent representatives over to London to get the deals done.
Reports also add that they have already convinced Azpilicueta to make the switch when his contract expires in June. The Chelsea captain is likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
He will be offered a two-year deal with the option to extend for a further season. Xavi is confident to see the 32-year-old player in the Barca outfit.
The Spanish giants are also eyeing a move for Christensen. His contract will expire at the end of the current season. He is getting attention from top clubs of Europe like Bayern Munich.
