Barcelona close to signing FIFA U-17 World Cup winner

This FIFA U-17 World Cup winner can leave his club for a small fee and join Barcelona in 2024.

Barcelona are focusing on boosting their youth ranks and they are monitoring the players from the U-17 FIFA World Cup which was held in Indonesia.

The Catalan giants signed some talented youngsters like Noah Darvich, Mamadou Mbacke, and Mikayil Faye last summer.

Barca are planning to shift their focus on Guilherme Ruck, Estevao Willian, and Matija Popovic. The latter is likely to join AC Milan.

According to reports from BILD, as relayed by SPORT, Barca are close to signing another German prospect. Blaugrana are now paying attention to signing Almugera Kabar from Borussia Dortmund.

Almugera Kabar is training regularly with the first team of the Bundesliga giants. He can also play as a wing-back or winger on the left flank.

His contract will expire in the summer of 2025 at Dortmund. He won the FIFA U-17 World Cup. He can leave the club for a small fee.

If Kabar joins the Catalan capital, the young gun would like to take part in the pre-season and train regularly with Xavi’s team during the season.
