Between Jadon Sancho and Manchester United head coach Erik Ten Hag, rifts are escalating as Barcelona look to take advantage
In Barcelona, over the past few weeks, the two have engaged in a highly publicised argument that appears to be costing the latter his spot on the first team.
Sancho left Borussia Dortmund in 2021 with high hopes, but the Englishman has had a difficult time. He had planned to revive his career this year, but Ten Hag doesn’t seem to think so, citing problems with his training as the main deterrent.
Numerous clubs will be monitoring the situation as a move from Man Utd appears more plausible. Sport claims that one of those is Barca, who is considering loaning Sancho their money.
Due to the exits of Ez Abde and Ansu Fati to Real Betis and Brighton, respectively, and the lack of depth at the position, Barca see Sancho as someone who can contribute on the left wing.
Sancho currently has a highly rich contract with Manchester United, making a trade very difficult for Barca. To execute an operation, they would require the Premier League team to cover the majority of the salary. That seems implausible at this time.
