Massive blow for Barcelona as Gerard Pique’s knee injury confirmed.
The veteran defender is expected to miss out on several months of action after sustaining an injury in Barca’s 1-0 loss to Atletico Madrid.
The Catalan giants have been looking for a replacement for the 33-year old and will probably dip into the transfer market in January.
Barcelona also confirmed that Sergi Roberto will be out for two months after tearing a muscle in his thigh.
This means that Clement Lenglet is the only fit central defender in the squad as Samuel Umtiti and Ronald Araujo are also on the treatment table.
