Joao Felix joined Barcelona on loan on the deadline day.
The Portugal international has expressed his desire to play for Barcelona and now has granted his wish this summer.
It is a dream come true move for the attacker as he always wanted to play for Barcelona.
Felix has struggled to live up to expectations since his big-money move to Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2019.
Last season, he spent the second-half of the season on loan at Chelsea after a fallout with Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone.
The 24-year-old attacker is expected to resurrect his career under Barcelona manager Xavi.
Xavi himself admitted that he could use Felix anywhere up front.
“I see him both as a striker and on the left wing, and also the right,” he told reporters. “I liked Joao Felix. He has helped. I’d highlight his attitude, which is very important for the team.”
Xavi later added: “He is comfortable going from the wing to the inside. He can play as a 9, on the right, but he is less comfortable there. He is versatile, he will give us alternatives and will help us a lot.”
