Barcelona president Joan Laporta has full faith in Xavi.
According to a fresh report of SPORT, Xavi will continue to be the manager of Barcelona until the end of the season. The club’s performance and results will decide his future.
Xavi helped Barcelona to win the La Liga title last season. Barca head transformed the club in 2022/23. They also won Supercopa de Espana.
Xavi renewed his deal with the Catalan giants and extended his contract until 2025. He joined Barcelona in December 2021, replacing Ronald Koeman.
The manager has been familiarised with the ongoing financial battle. It also affected Barcelona’s transfer plans. They are in a challenging period. The management is seeking explanations and solutions during this phase.
Joan Laporta is Xavi’s great supporter at the club. The president silences any internal rumor about the continuity of the coach. His bet is clear. No matter what happens, Xavi will remain on the bench.
