Barcelona coach Xavi cannot rule out Frenkie de Jong being sold.
The midfielder is a target for Chelsea and Manchester United. He was heavily linked with Ten Hag’s side but de Jong doesn’t want to see his move to Old Trafford. Chelsea entered in the race for the Dutchman now and they are the frontrunners.
De Jong scored the final goal in Sunday’s 6-0 victory over Pumas in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
Asked about de Jong, Xav said: “Frenkie already knows my position and that of the club, for me he is a great player. I don’t know what will happen to Frenkie de Jong.
“Until August 31, anything can happen… ”
