Any January arrivals are unlikely due to the club’s financial situation.
The winter transfer window is around the corner and Barcelona are showing no interest in the window. It’s confirmed by Barca’s sporting director Deco. He admitted that it will be difficult for the club to make any signings during the winter.
Barcelona are going through a financial problems. However, they still managed to sign five new players in the summer market. Oriol Romeu arrived from Girona. Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez joined Barcelona on free transfers.
The Catalan giants also secured loan deals for Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo and Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix. They can hand them permanent contracts.
Deco has admitted that any January arrivals are unlikely due to the club’s financial situation. “It will be difficult to sign anyone in January,” Deco told Mundo Deportivo.
“We are always ready in case an opportunity presents itself, but I don’t think it will be possible.”
