Estevao Willian’s contract is understood to include a release clause of €60m
Liverpool’s potential move for Palmeiras winger Estevao Willian is in danger of collapsing due to the club’s indecisiveness. The reigning winners of La Liga are targeting the 16-year-old.
Estevao made his first-team debut for Palmeiras in the final game of the 2023 Brasileiro season, coming on as a late substitute against former club Cruzeiro.
The 16-year-old marked attention during the Under-17 World Cup. The teenager scored three goals and set up three more during Brazil’s run to the quarter-finals. He scored one of his own and provided three assists in a 9-0 group-stage obliteration of New Caledonia. He scored two goals in the last-16 win over Ecuador.
The Brazilian agreed professional terms with the 16-year-old until the summer of 2026. He is also on the wishlist of Chelsea and Real Madrid.
As per Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United, PSG, Manchester City and Barcelona are interested in Brazil U-17 international. His contract is understood to include a release clause of €60m and Barcelona cannot trigger that option due to their financial situation.
