Jorge Mendes claimed that Barcelona have signalled their intention to secure permanent deals for both players.
Barcelona are planning to offer a permanent contract for loanees Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix Superagent Jorge Mendes. Catalan giants consider both as important players.
Barca made significant signings by securing Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix on the deadline day of the summer transfer window of 2023. Both players have been brilliant this season and Xavi considers the duo prime members of the club.
In an interview with the Portuguese publication Record, Jorge Mendes claimed that La Liga winners have signalled their intention to secure permanent deals for both players.

Joao Felix has been outstanding for the club. He also wants to stay at Camp Nou. He has provided a promising start to his Barcelona career. However, he has lost his place in the first-team XI to the in-form Ferran Torres.
It won’t be easy to offer him a permanent deal. His parent club, Atletico Madrid are seeking €80 million for the Portuguese.
On the other hand, Joao Cancelo has maintained his position in the starting XI. The 29-year-old scored twice and grabbed one assist in 15 La Liga appearances.
