Barcelona to plan potential Haaland move in the summer of 2025

Haaland could be an ideal replacement for Lewandowski who may leave next summer.

Barcelona are looking to get the signature of Man City striker Erling Haaland during the summer transfer window of next year. They will reportedly attempt to bring him to Camp Nou in 2025.

The Norway international moved to Man City in the summer of 2022 from Borussia Dortmund. He remains a key asset for the club and in his debut season, he won each trophy.

Haaland was the leading goal-scorer in the Premier League and Champions League, scoring more than 50 goals in a single season. He has featured for 87 games, scoring 81 goals and registering 15 assists in the process.

The 23-year-old has been excellent for Man City this season, scoring 29 goals and providing six assists in 34 appearances. He still has three years left to run on his contract.

Real Madrid are also planning to sign him in the future. They even planned for the backup option if they fail to sign Mbappe.

As per the reports of Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants are preparing to make an attempt to sign him in the summer of 2025. They wanted to sign him two years back but they pulled out due to financial issues.

Haaland could be an ideal replacement for Lewandowski whose contract will expire in June 2026. The Polish striker may leave the club next summer.
