Ilkay Gundogan situation has been dealt now after El Clasico rant

Gundogan was not happy with his teammates for their lack of passion in El Clasico.

Ilkay Gundogan was trending since Barcelona’s loss in El Clasico. He was not impressed with his teammate for the defeat. The former Man City star felt his teammates failed to show passion for the game.

Ilkay Gundogan joined Barcelona in the summer from Manchester City. He was the lone scorer for Barcelona last weekend. He started the scoring but Bellingham replied with a brace to win it for Real Madrid 2-1.

Meanwhile, Gundogan has cleared the air with his teammates after this incident and said he was aimed at no one in particular. Barcelona’s Sporting Director Deco has also confirmed that internally, everyone has moved on, as per MD.

“Everything is fixed. It’s internal things, but everything is calm.”

Deco was talking at the premiere of “Bojan: Beyond the Smile”, which is a documentary on the former Barcelona star and now-football co-ordinator at the club.

Deco also paid tribute to Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, who recently won his eighth Ballon d’Or in Paris.

“Leo is the best in the history of the club along with Johan Cruyff and Ronaldinho. One day he will come back (for the tribute ceremony), but it’s not anything to do with me. I know how important he has been for the club and how important the club has been for him. As a friend, I hope he is happy and content.”
