With the acquisition of Jordi Alba, Inter Miami has made their most notable acquisition to date

After 11 years with the team, the 34-year-old left Barça at the conclusion of the previous campaign, making 459 appearances, tallying 27 goals, and taking home every available title. Given that the young team is now in last place in the MLS Eastern Conference after 22 games, Beckham will be hopeful that the arrival of the stars would result in a turn around in their fortunes.
Numerous clubs have expressed interest in him, but Miami has acquired his services. The club will benefit from the experience and skill that the Spanish full-back, who is renowned for his lightning speed and attacking prowess, will provide. Alba had a brilliant career at Barcelona, where he unquestionably made a lasting impression. He recorded 99 assists in 458 games for the Blaugrana while scoring 27 goals.
Questions have been raised about Miami’s strategy of signing experienced ex-Barcelona stars, as with any ageing player. Alba was recently ousted from Barcelona’s starting left-back position by rising talent Alejandro Balde. He has nonetheless had flashes of brilliance. In his sparse appearances last season, he produced 14 significant opportunities and two goals. Some opponents have questioned Miami’s strategy in light of the club’s recent acquisitions of Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
There have been analogies to a remixed version of the renowned Spanish club because they appear to be putting together a roster of former Barcelona greats who are past their prime. Miami went to former Barcelona coach Gerard Tata Martino when the team was struggling and stuck at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. However, their most recent 3-0 loss to St. Louis in his opening game has created doubts about their capacity to recover.
