Ansu Fati has signed a long-term contract with Barcelona.
The Blaugrana has extended Fati’s contract with the club until 2027 and becomes the second player to have a buy-out clause at 1billion euros.
The teenager who has scored 15 goals in 47 games for the Catalan giants made his first La Liga start against Valencia this season.
Joan Laporta explains why the club were so keen to tie him to a new deal.

“It’s a huge day for Barca because we have signed the present and the future,” Laporta said.
“We are very excited. For us, it was very important to regularise this situation.
“At just 18 years, he has an extraordinary maturity and a super talent.
“Your objectives are our objectives. Thank you to your family and your agent for their efforts because everyone has played their part.
“We have found an agreement and here we are.”
