Joao Felix reveals ambitious desire for Liverpool star to Join Barcelona
Joao Felix, a Barcelona loanee, has expressed a desire to see Liverpool’s growing talent Dominik Szoboszlai wear the iconic Barcelona jersey in the future.
Szoboszlai, who joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window for a reported £60 million, has quickly won over the Anfield fans with outstanding performances.
Felix, who is presently on loan at Barcelona from Atletico Madrid, told Spiler TV that he admires Szoboszlai’s playing style and envisions a possible collaboration at the club.
“Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai. I like his game, I think he can play here one day,” he said.
Speaking recently to RAC1, Barcelona sporting director Deco revealed the club’s intentions to sign Felix on a permanent deal during the 2024 summer window:
“It is early. But of course we are already thinking about it. We see how the season is going.
“There is no doubt that we want to have them next season, because they are good for the squad. We are happy with their performance. How? We’ll see, these are discussions for later.”
The Hungarian midfielder has not only started all 14 Premier League games for Liverpool this season, but he has also made an indelible impression with his creative ability and goal-scoring abilities.
The revelation adds a fascinating dimension to the football world, as Felix expresses a desire for a fellow star to join forces at Barcelona, seeing beyond club rivalry.
As both players continue to make waves in their respective competitions, football fans are left to consider the possibility of seeing this dynamic pair grace the Catalan giants’ pitch together.
Only time will tell whether football fate will align with Joao Felix’s hope for Szoboszlai to join Barcelona in the future.
