Joao Felix is making an impressive stint with Barcelona and he is also on the radar of some top clubs. Barcelona are also planning to sign him permanently next year.
He completed a loan move from Atletico Madrid in the summer and gave big value to Xavi in La Liga. He took a pay cut in salary but his desire to play at Barcelona was completed.
The Portuguese international was forced to wait until the final hours of the summer transfer window to complete his switch to Barcelona. He angered sections of the Atletico fan base, after admitting it was his dream to play for Barcelona.
The young gun extended his contract at Madrid giants before joining Barcelona on loan. Diego Simeone remains open-minded on retaining him.
Catalan giants are clear to sign him on a permanent deal next summer after a good start with the club. Felix has netted three goals and provided two assists at Camp Nou so far and he is happy in his new role.
He talked as per Diario AS, “As you can see, I’m happy where I am. I feel good, confident and I feel I’m experiencing a good moment.”
