Nico Williams prefers to join Real Madrid over Barcelona in future.
Both the Spanish giants are linked with the Athletic Bilbao winger who will be out of contract next summer.
Several European sides have also kept Williams on their radar, with Arsenal, Liverpool, PSG all interested in the Spanish winger.
The 21-year-old winger has appeared 10 times for the national sides since his September 2022 debut scoring two goals.
Williams will be allowed to hold discussions with foreign clubs at the start of the January transfer window.
The versatile forward has represented Bilbao on 95 occasions, scoring 13 goals and registering 12 assists in the process.
“The fact that big teams like Barca, Madrid or clubs in England are looking at me means that I’m doing my job well,” Williams told SPORT.
“I’m clear about the decision I want to make, but in the end it’s something that my representatives, who have been with me since I was 11 years old, are in charge of.
“There is also my family, my friends, my representatives. It’s not just a question of me, because in the end the family is very important to me and plays a decisive role in this decision.”
