Antoine Griezmann rejoins Atletico Madrid on a permanent deal.

The Frenchman joins his former side Atletico Madrid on a four-year contract to complete his return to Civitas Metropolitano.

Barcelona agreed to reduce the transfer fee from €40 million to €20m to sanction the move.

The French forward was limited to 30-minute cameos due to financial clauses in the deal.

The 31-year-old has scored 144 goals in 304 matches over his two spells at Atletico Madrid and is the club’s fourth-highest scorer.

The French international joined Barcelona back in 2019 when the club triggered his release clause of €120m.

Griezmann scored 35 goals in 102 appearances over his two seasons with the Catalan giants.
