Barcelona are now finding options for the ideal replacement of current boss Xavi who will leave the Catalan giants at the end of the season. Their most recent option is Porto head coach.
Barcelona sporting director Deco has given the green light with an approach for Porto head coach Sérgio Conceição. As per the reports of Catalunya Radio (as cited by A Bola), who have on Sunday provided an insight into developments behind the scenes in the Barcelona boardroom.
Barcelona have picked few more options for Xavi’s replacement. Recently, Xavi announced that he will leave the club after this season. He was not happy with the club and he wants to move out from Camp Nou.
Blaugrana also have options like Thomas Tuchel, Hansi Flick and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. Klopp could be an ideal name who will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
As per Catalunya Radio, Sérgio Conceição is the fresh name on the list. Sporting director Deco is likely to make negotiations to be opened with the Porto boss.
The Porto boss will see his contract expire at The Estádio do Dragão at the end of the season. He can think about a potential move to Barcelona. Super agent Jorge Mendes also has a good relationship with the Portuguese and he can help the Catalan giants to crack this deal.
