Barcelona is actively pursuing its goals during the transfer season because the Catalans want to accomplish them before it closes

Barcelona’s transfer strategy have included performing exit operations in addition to adding a variety of new players.

Sergino Dest is one of the players who has been excluded from Xavi’s team plans for a long, and after much speculation, it seems his sale is about to happen. A number of organisations reportedly approached Dest, with as many as four teams vying for the American’s services, according to earlier reports.

Sergino Dest will reportedly join PSV on loan with a €10 million buyback option, according to SPORT. Half of the player’s wages will be covered by the Dutch team. Dest will leave for Eindhoven in a little while to complete the medical examination and sign the contract.

Dest’s exit appears to be almost complete, which will allow Barça to trim their roster and get rid of a player who didn’t mean much to Xavi and whose transfer had gone through. Joao Cancelo’s pursuit by Barcelona suggests that the team is actively trying to replace the former Ajax player. Dest will be hoping to improve his preseason performance at PSV after a difficult loan stint at AC Milan.

Despite the fact that both parties have agreed to a loan period, Barca has included a €10 million buy option that they hope will be exercised—especially given the player’s prior success with Ajax in the Dutch League. However, by making room on the pay bill, the Blaugrana are now able to concentrate on signing players to bolster the team even more.
