News of Ansu Fati’s knee injury is not one fans would like to hear.
Since suffering a meniscus tear, the youngster has already gone through two surgeries.
Fresh fluid buildup and a lack of recovery means he might have to go under the needle once again. Fati’s father is unconvinced by the medical treatment his son is getting and wants different procedures done. The forward in so much pain this week, that he could not sleep through the night.
Fati was really stamping his mark in Europe, scoring 5 from 10 appearances this season and also collecting a goal in 4 caps for Spain. Unfortunately, the injury pulled back his momentum.
Speaking to Esports COPE, Barcelona defender Óscar Mingueza said, “I hope he recovers as soon as possible. He shouldn’t rush back even if he has to spend three or four more months on the sidelines.
“Let him fully recover because he is young and has many years ahead of him. I’m sure that with what he has already shown he will be a top player. I hope that he doesn’t want to rush back or play before he has to and that he recovers well with his knee.”
