Barcelona are working on the possibility of signing Felix on a permanent transfer.
Barcelona will take on Atletico Madrid in the upcoming La Liga game. All attention will be on Joao Felix who is currently on loan from the Spanish capital.
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has claimed that if Felix scores a goal on Sunday against his parent team, he hopes he does not celebrate like he usually does.
Cerezo as quoted by SPORT, “I hope he doesn’t celebrate if he scores a goal.” Cerezo will be in attendance alongside Barcelona’s present Joan Laporta during the game.
“I always think that football is a spectacle and you have to see the teams with the best players. Of course, Joao Felix is a magnificent player.”
Cerezo also said that he “wouldn’t be surprised if Joao had his big afternoon, but if not, then it will be the next one.”
The Catalan giants want Felix on a permanent transfer and they are working on the possibility of signing Felix on a permanent transfer.
Atletico are demanding €80 million for the Portugal international. La Liga winners will try to cut a deal within €40 million and offer a player as part of the operation.
