Atletico Madrid will take advantage of tomorrow’s game to discuss the matter with Barcelona.

As per SPORT, Atletico Madrid is in the mood to solve Joao Felix’s long-term future. The 24-year-old was loaned out to Barcelona last summer.

Felix’s permanent departure is necessary for them to go ahead with their next sporting project. Atletico will be in action for the next La Liga game against Barcelona.

Joao Felix will face his parent club, Atletico Madrid. Barcelona are also planning to give him a permanent contract. Financial things might hurt Barcelona.

Catalan giants can look for summer options. Barca have ticked few options where they need to fix out their players. Felix is going stronger under Xavi and he was vital in Barcelona’s previous La Liga win.

The Portugal international is expected to stay only if a transfer is agreed for the future with another loan deal in between. They signed Felix on loan at a very low salary but next season, they will have to take on the player’s full salary.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid will take advantage of tomorrow’s game to discuss the matter with Barcelona. Felix has a market value of €50 million.

Atletico wanted €85 million for the Portuguese but will settle for €60 million. It’s pretty confirmed that Felix wants to stay at Camp Nou.  If he rejects other offers, his parent club will have to give in and accept Barcelona’s conditions.
