Barcelona Could Acquire Hector Bellerin On An Exchange Deal

Junior Firpo is on Barcelona’s for sale list for the coming summer.

Since arriving from Real Betis, the left-back has not been able to make it at Camp Nou.

Not only has he failed to impress several coaches, Barca are now actively looking to move him out. Raising funds will be high on their agenda in the coming summer owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Firpo could be the type of player Arsenal might be interested in. The Gunners only have Kieran Tierney in the position after loaning out Sead Kolasinac to FC Schalke. Mikel Arteta is now looking to bring in a backup.

Arsenal tried to sign Firpo on loan back in January. They player decided to stay at Camp Nou and fight for his position. Unfortunately, his situation is not showing any positive signs under Ronald Koeman.

The player Barca are apparently interested in is Hector Bellerin. The Spaniard was once a part of their La Masia academy. He moved to London at 16 and established himself as a starting right-back at the Emirates.

Now, he is reportedly looking to move elsewhere. PSG were said to be interested in him last summer. A move never materialised and he should be available once again after this season.
