Barcelona preparing a massive €100 million bid for Napoli's Victor Osimhen

The last couple of years have seen a lot of Barcelona’s financial problems, albeit they are being addressed

This summer, they made significant progress, and 2024 is probably going to be the same.

If things continue as they are, Barcelona should soon be able to make significant purchases once more; this may happen as soon as next summer. El Nacional reports that they might try to do so with one of Europe’s most intriguing players.

Last season, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made a stunning entrance into the scene. Together with Victor Osimhen, the Georgian international who participated in Friday’s 7-1 annihilation of Spain, Napoli was able to win their first Serie A championship in more than 30 years.

Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia were both retained by Napoli this summer, despite reports that Barcelona is interested in signing the latter player in 2024. The Italian champions, nevertheless, are not expected to accept any bids under €100 million.

Given that Joao Felix is only on loan from Atletico Madrid and that Ez Abde left the team earlier this month, Barcelona may decide to bolster the left wing position in the next summer. However, it would be quite doubtful that they could sign Kvaratskhelia because, to put it simply, they wouldn’t have the money.
