Barcelona are in advanced negotiations with the Serie A midfield duo- Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie
Inter Milan do not want to lose their top midfielder, but the idea of playing for Barcelona piques the Croatian’s curiosity.
Furthermore, it was recently claimed that Laporta offered the 29-year-old a long-term deal for €8 million each season.
Meanwhile, the reds of Milan are likely to lose Kessie on a free transfer in the summer.
Though the club’s administration is interested in the player’s profile, his pay demands are thought to be too expensive.
Barcelona recently made an offer to the player’s entourage, but it was rejected due to a difference in wages. Nonetheless, MARCA reports that he is the management’s preferred priority to bolster the midfield.
Both players are nearing the end of their contracts and will be available for free transfer in the summer.
While Brozovic is a more secure candidate to replace Busquets, there is a chance he may sign an extension with the Nerazzurri.
Kessie, on the other hand, will almost likely leave Milan and represents a more trustworthy target.
