Barcelona are weighing up a move for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler

Barcelona like Soler, but his signing isn’t a priority unless a midfielder leaves unexpectedly. The Valencia player has received approval from the coaching staff and the signing committee, and Barça has been notified of the procedure, but it all rests on Frenkie de Jong or another major sale.

Soler is seen by Barça as a top-level player with a competitive capacity who can help the club. His contract is on the table, and he might be activated if the midfield is in need of reinforcement.

The Spain international’s contract with Valencia was set to expire after one year, and he has not renewed it. The club is in a state of disarray, and both Soler and Jose Luis Gaya may be released. Valencia, by Peter Lim, has to sell before June 30.

For the time being, everything is on hold until the market opens. Soler, on the other hand, has other offers and will not wait indefinitely. His camp is aware of Barça’s interest, as well as the domino effect required to take the next step.
