Interim manager Sergi Barjuan feels his deserved a win against Alaves.
The Spaniard managed his first game for the senior team against Alaves in La Liga on Saturday.
Barjuan took over the role as Barcelona’s interim manager after Koeman was sacked last week.
They will now be preparing for the next Champions League fixture against Dynamo Kyiv which they have to win.
“It feels a bit like we haven’t got a reward for the work we did,” Barjuan said.
“Today I’ve planned the game as we should, with possession, breaking through the lines, and if I’m in charge on Tuesday in Kiev, we’ll do the same.”
“We’ll try to lift the team again, they know that they are very good and that they have to believe in themselves.
“I’ve had very little time to work. I’ve tried to bring order defensively and offensively and I think they’ve done that a lot, we’ve corrected a few things.
“When there’s a negative result, it’s difficult to bounce back.”
