Pedri unveils dream signing for Barcelona – eyes Manchester City’s Erling Haaland
Barcelona star Pedri revealed his dream signing for the Catalan giants, none other than Manchester City’s lethal goal machine Erling Haaland, in an exclusive chat with popular streamer Ibai Llanos.
The 19-year-old midfielder did not hold back in showing his adoration for the Norwegian striker, saying that if given the opportunity, he would eagerly invite Haaland to the legendary Camp Nou.
“I would sign Messi if he were 19 or 22 years old, but currently I would sign Haaland, he is a cyborg and scores a lot of goals. It is true that we have Lewandowski, but he is older, he will not be able to play until he is 60!”
Pedri’s admission fuels long-running suspicions about Barcelona’s interest in the dangerous striker. Despite missing out on Haaland during his move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City, it appears that the desire to see him wear the renowned Blaugrana jersey remains strong within the Barcelona camp.
Haaland, who won multiple trophies in his debut season under Pep Guardiola, has been the focus of ongoing transfer rumors. Speculations regarding a potential release provision in his contract added to the ambiguity about his future.
If Barcelona decides to pursue the Norwegian goal-scoring wonder, it might signal a sea change in the club’s attacking prowess, putting new energy and firepower into Xavi’s expanding squad.
As the transfer window approaches, Pedri’s dream signing could become a reality, ushering in a thrilling new chapter in Barcelona’s illustrious history.
