Barcelona new boy Pedri has talked about all the other clubs he almost joined before coming to Barcelona.
There was a huge chance for him to end up at Madrid where he actually went to trials. However, that did not work out for young Pedri.
“Two or three years ago I went [to Madrid] to do trials,” Pedri told YouTuber DjMaRiiO.
“I was there for a week but they told me to keep working. They didn’t want to sign me.
“Last season I started pre-season with Las Palmas but Barcelona had signed me before I finished.
“I had already signed after the pre-season games, it was a dream of mine since childhood.
“It was much better that Barcelona called me and I got this opportunity.”
He also spoke about loan offers from Germany.
“I’d be happy to [go on loan] if there aren’t opportunities,” he said.
“There are offers from German sides that are doing very well. I wouldn’t mind trying something abroad.
“The important thing for me is to play and keep growing.
“I know I have to work as hard as possible to have the chance to stay. We’ll see.”
