Bayern Munich keen to sign Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.
The Uruguayan defender has established himself as one of the best defenders in Europe and there’s a huge speculation around his future ahead of the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old has become a fan favourite at Catalonia since being promoted to the captaincy role following the departures of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
He signed a new contract with Barcelona in April 2022 as clubs like Manchester City and Manchester United were linked with the coveted defender.
But there is a new speculation surrounding Ronald Araujo, he has been increasingly linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the winter transfer window.
The Bavarians are determined to sign the 24-year-old defender as Araujo has reportedly held talks with manager Thomas Tuchel.
According to reports, Tuchel is a huge admirer of the South American defender and is willing to pay an exorbitant fee to lure the defender to Germany.
But Araujo is not keen on a move at this stage of his career and insist to continue with the Blaugrana.
Barcelona lacks money and could be tempted to offload the defender if the right offer comes through in the next few weeks.
