Van de Beek to reunite with former Ajax teammate Frenkie de Jong at Barcelona

Catalan giants will only sign Van de Beek on loan due to their financial issues.

Man United manager Erik ten Hag is under pressure due to the poor run of form of the club. He is reportedly losing the support of the United players and it seems at least a couple of them are looking for a way out in winter.

As per fresh reports, Ten Hag has “lost 50%” of the Man Utd dressing room with “players confused with what is happening.” It has been added that few players are unhappy with the style of play.

Jadon Sancho is planning to make a move to Borussia Dortmund in January. He is out of the selection due to his tussle with Erik ten Hag, Now, Spanish outlet SPORT, as cited by Football Espana reports that Van de Beek is keen on reuniting with former Ajax teammate Frenkie de Jong at Barcelona.

The report adds that the Dutchman has ‘offered himself’ to Barcelona, who could be open to signing him due to an injury to Gavi.

Catalan giants will only sign him on loan due to their financial issues. Van de Beek has played just two minutes of Premier League football this season. His contract will expire in the summer of 2025.
