Aymeric Laporte Eager For A Barcelona Move

Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte wants Barcelona move.

According to Spanish news outlet Sport, Pep Guardiola has a real problem on his hands with the 27-year-old.

Laporte has grown frustrated with the reduction in his role at Manchester. Guardiola has dropped him behind John Stones and Ruben Dias in the pecking order. That also saw Laporte miss crucial games like the Champions League final against Chelsea.

Barca and Manchester City share a good relationship with two players heading out of the Etihad doors for Camp Nou. Laporte’s current market value might be far too high for Barca right now which means a potential swap deal is possible.

Laporte also changed his international preference from France to Spain ahead of the 2020 Euros. If he features for La Rojas, his value is expected to rise even higher.

Spain are currently dealing with Sergio Busquet’s absence due to COVID-19. Jordi Alba said, “I think we all know the captain is Busquets. We want him back. He’s a visual player for us on the pitch and as a human, Until then I will do what I can to help.”

“In the name of the national team, we send our support to Christian Eriksen,” said Alba. “And his family. We send him support and love. I hope we can see him back on the pitch too.”
